As is Tim Tebow did not already get enough press for every move he makes, GQ decided to give him his own spread and the virgin goes….. SHIRTLESS. Now this is not the first time that the BACKUP quarterback of the New York Jets has been photographed shirtless. He famously ran off the field in the rain sans shirt during training camp. I cannot imagine anyone did not see the video since it was top of the news pretty much everywhere because Tim Tebow running shirtless is much more important than the presidential race and the financial/employment crisis combined. So now for everyone’s viewing pleasure, here is the BACKUP, yet still most talked about quarterback of the New York Jets in all his glory (well close enough)….

I was quite surprised when I saw the new May cover of GQ and saw Derrick Rose on there. Rose has never been one to be very public and he definitely does not do many photo shoots. However, we get to see Rose out of his Chicago uniform and he looks great. It is definitely not the look I would expect him to rock, but nevertheless he looks like he could walk the runway [well maybe not, but he would look great posing with the NBA Championship trophy all over the country]. In the magazine, Rose stepped forward and said he was uncomfortable with his level of fame. “Sometimes it’s too much,” Rose told GQ Magazine in a story posted on its website Tuesday. “Chicago isn’t used to stardom. Back when Michael [Jordan] was here, everyone was used to actors and singers and people being at the games. But there’s been a drought since then, and even celebrities, they’ll stop here to film a movie and then pop right back out. They don’t know how to act toward celebrity. So I always have someone with me. I can have a hat on, glasses on, whatever. People still notice me. If I go outside without a hat on, I feel like I’m naked.” Some of the pictures from the shoot are below.
